Despite the fact that Party Poker isn’t even available in the United States the online poker site remains one of the most popular sites in the entire world. Face it, can you even think of Party Poker without singing their little jingle in your head? You know the one.. Puh-puh-puh-Party Poker!
Ok maybe that jingle is bit dated now that I think about it – but the site itself? No way. It is still one of the premier online poker destinations out there today, only trailing sites like PokerStars and 888 in terms of real money traffic.
Party Poker now offers players that sign up for brand new Party Poker accounts from RakeMonkey now have the opportunity to earn up to 40% back on their poker play. It’s not considered “rakeback,” but more of a VIP cash rewards system that tiers your play depending on time and rake you put in at the tables.
When new players sign up through our links will become eligible for the Party Poker VIP and VIP cashback program. Enjoy the rest of our review!
Party Poker “Rakeback” – How the VIP Program Works
Party Poker’s VIP cashback deal is actually better than the average rakeback deal. How many rooms do you know of for instance where you can earn up to 40% rakeback? You might have come up with a few, especially if you’ve been reading our reviews, however, how many of those rooms can make the same claims to fame that Party Poker can? Party is one of the largest and most active online poker sites worldwide!
After you sign up here for your cashback deal, you’ll earn your cashback buy aquiring Party Poker points, these points are then calculated on a month to month basis. The points are earned the same way loyalty bonus points are earned at any rakeback poker room, by playing poker.
Whenever you’re dealt into a ring game, or a cash poker game, you’re accruing VIP points. Unfortunately, Party Poker doesn’t pay cashback rewards on tournament entries. Now rather than just send your rakeback profits to your account using your MGR as the method of rakeback calculation, Party Poker awards you points dependent upon your VIP level. If you’re a loyal Party Poker player, you’re probably going to get the most cash back. For instance, Palladium Elite members recieve 30% cash back at Party while Bronze members get only a token 5%.
Party Poker Cash Back Rewards
- Bronze Members – 5% Party Poker Cash Back
- Silver Members – 6.67% Party Poker Cash Back
- Gold Members – 10% Party Poker Cash Back
- Palladium Members – 12-15% Party Poker Cash Back
- Palladium Elite Members – 30% Party Poker Cash Back
You might have noticed by now that we said you could earn 40% in rakeback equivalent at Party Poker but the highest amount you can earn from the loyalty program is 30%. Well to get that extra 10% you just trade in your points for cash bonuses, in fact any point earning player is eligible to do that.
For every 400 in Party Poker points you have, you can buy $10 in poker chips. As a matter of fact, saving up 100,000 party poker points will net you free $15,000.00 in poker chips!
Depositing at Party Poker
Party poker accepts all of the usual methods of deposit, along with a few new methods that even I hadn’t heard of before writing this review. Party Poker payment methods include:
Visa | Maestro | PaySafeCard |
MasterCard | EntroPay | Ukash |
Switch | NETeller | myCitadel |
Solo | Click & Buy | eWire |
Laser | Click2Pay | Przleway24 |
Moneybookers | UseMyBank | EPS |
WebMoney | Mister Cash | iDeal |
GiroPay | Bank Wire | DirectPay24 |
Earning Points by Playing Raked Hands
Poker players at Party Poker accrue up to ten points in about 6 raked hands. This of course varies depending on the game and game stakes the player opts to play.
If the player were playing at the micro-limit levels (we don’t recommend this by the way, it’s no way to gain an edge and build a bankroll) the player would have to play 700 hands that were rake capped to earn 10 points.
However, if you were playing at the more common $2/$4 limit tables (very popular even at land based casinos) you would only need to play 18 hands to accrue 10 VIP points.
Moving Up the VIP Ladder
Every brand new player at Party Poker begins at the Bronze level, and therefore qualifies for 5% cashback from the beginning. After that, the following point increments are required to advance into higher levels:
- Silver – 400
- Gold – 1,000
- Palladium – 9,000
- Palladium Elite – 50,000
Party Poker Bonus
When you first sign up at Party Poker as a new player, and go to make your first real money deposit and you will receive a 100% up to $500 welcome bonus. You clear this bonus in the same way that you earn cashback, by accruing player points, you have 60 days to clear the bonus.
