Prize Money Doubled for Borgata Poker Sunday Major

file4741238088930Borgata Poker is offering great things this November from special tournaments to cash gaming. The big event everyone is talking about is the Sunday Major. This event takes place every Sunday and offers a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool. However, the last Sunday in November will feature the same event, with No Limit Texas Hold’em format, offering a minimum prize pool of $100,000.

The tournament will kick off on the 29th at 5pm and allow for one re-entry per player. The big event is not the only action at Borgata Poker. Players can also catch more than 70 events at the online poker room throughout the month of November. From Monday to Saturday, the site offers more than $25,000 in guaranteed prize money with a nightly event offering $10,000 in guarantees each day starting at 7pm.

Every Sunday, the site will offer over $75,000 in guarantees with buy-ins for daily tournaments beginning at just $2. Every player has the opportunity to compete in any of the daily events as the buy-ins are affordable with freerolls offered each day, allowing players to earn seats to events for free. On Sunday, there will also be a $1,000 guaranteed freeroll offered with prizes being tournament dollars.

Garden State Super Series Event #13 Sees Major Turnout

Borgata Poker To Host Major Guarantee Tournament

PartyPoker powered online poker site, Borgata Poker, is one of the few online poker sites available in the state of New Jersey. The site is one of the more popular options and provides players with a nice selection of tournament and cash game options. The site recently announced that they are going to increase the Sunday guaranteed tournament from the $50,000 prize pool to $100,000.

This special edition of the tournament will take place on March 2nd, so players still have plenty of time to take part. The regular Sunday tournament is very popular but with the increase of the prize pool, the tournament is sure to be even more popular in March.

Poker pro Mike Sexton commented on the special tournament by stating that when PartyPoker entered the online gaming market of New Jersey, they wanted to promise the most lucrative and best tournament options available online. Sexton stated that with the $100k guarantee option, the site will be putting their money where their mouth is!

The last time the Sunday tournament took place, the site saw just over 370 players competing and the total prize pool was worth $69,000. More players are sure to sign up to compete in the $100,000 edition of the tournament and it will be interesting to see just how many more players compete in the event.

Players can easily sign up at the Borgata Poker site to take part in the special edition of the tournament, but players must be located within the borders of the state. PokerTracker Service Now Available in New Jersey
