Poker rooms have long been a staple in both Atlantic City and Las Vegas, with gamblers hitting the felt to be able to enjoy their favorite poker games. For decades, gamblers would visit the towns to be able to visits multiple casinos, take part in poker tournaments and just have fun. Over the past few years, poker rooms have suffered in both cities, with many closing down due to low traffic numbers. In 2016, poker seems to be doing well once again and both Atlantic City and Las Vegas have a new poker room to enjoy.
In Las Vegas, players can visit the Encore Casino and take part in poker gaming at the casino while Atlantic City visitors will find a new room at the Trump Taj Mahal. At the Taj, players can now experience a state of the art poker room that launched just last month after being revamped under new ownership. Tropicana Entertainment now owns the venue, with the poker room updated to offer twenty five gaming tables with a variety of games as well as features.
In Nevada, the Encore Casino, owned by Steve Wynn, now provides a new poker location. A great deal of money was used to create the new gaming space which features 8,600 square feet of poker entertainment. The poker room is quite a bit larger but only has increased in table gaming space by 3 new tables. However, the new poker room is more open, providing a more comfortable space for gaming.
A neutral palette was used when creating the room, with plush chairs and extra padded tables. Every seat includes a USB charging port which can be used for charging mobile devices. A dedicated bathroom is also included, a bonus that poker players are sure to enjoy.
These two poker rooms are great additions to the gambling cities and will hopefully see a lot of action in the coming months.
