Players competing in the upcoming New Jersey Championship of Online Poker will have the opportunity to compete for a $1 million in guaranteed prize money thanks to upgrades made to this year’s schedule. Partypoker just released the drafted schedule of the upcoming NJCOP which will include 32 events which is a larger schedule than last year’s inaugural event, with 15 of those events offering $1 million in prize money, guaranteed.
Partypoker sought after feedback for this year’s schedule at favorite online poker forums with players from New Jersey and other states providing ideas as to what they would like to see with this year’s series. Players wanted to see changes to the buy-ins of events, varying events, structure and format and additional varying features.
The series will take place from April 16th to the 26th and will see the main event beginning on the last day of the series. This event will have a guarantee of $150,000 and be the big draw during the online series. Also on the schedule is the Super Bounty High Roller which has a buy-in of $500. The highest buy-in event will be the Slow event which will have a buy-in of $1,000 and $75,000 in prize money. The schedule also includes events that were chosen by the players of the site which includes Event #1 and Event #20.
The first running of the New Jersey Championship of Online Poker was not without issues, but overall was success for players in the state. Players who live in the area or find themselves in the state during the series time frame can take part in any of the 32 events. There is only a few more weeks until players can begin taking part in the many special events as part of the New Jersey Championship of Poker.
