“Bet Raise Fold: The Story of Online Poker” is a documentary based on the lives of three online poker players. The documentary has been in the works for some time now and according to a recent report by PokerNews, which just released a trailer for film.
Just yesterday, a new website was launched for the new movie which featured a new trailer. The website was created by Taylor Caby (Executive Producer), Jay Rosenkrantz (Producer), Ryan Firpo (Director and Editor) and Michael Epple (Director of Photography).
The movie has been in the works for some time now and was first titled “BOOM!,” but was later changed to its current title. The movie will be out this June so the creators are launching the new preview to get the word out about the project.
The movie features Danielle Moon, Martin Bradstreet and Tony Dunst, all poker players. The movie follows their game play and lives in the game but also features notable poker pros including: Tom Dwan, Mike Sexton, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Galfond and many more. Jay Rosenkrantz spoke with PokerNews about the new trailer release and the upcoming movie release.
Rosenkrantz stated:
“We are extremely excited. We feel like we’ve been operating in secrecy for a long time, and we know that people have been waiting for the movie since we put up the old trailer. We’re especially excited because we can release a lot of information about the movie.”
Rosenkrantz told PokerNews that today; the site will launch deleted scenes from the movie. One such scene is titled ‘Phil Ivey is God’ and should be quite interesting. The site will be posting deleted scenes until the movie is released in June. So players and fans will have a new clip to watch each week in anticipation of the new movie!
